Founded by Karina, and guided by our dedicated board members, our mission is to create opportunities for learning, cultural understanding, and personal growth,while sharing the beauty of the Himalayas with visitors from around the world.
Karina Grewar is deeply inspired by her personal journey to the Himalayas and her meaningful connection with the children and communities of Nepal. During her trek to Everest Base Camp in 2025, she experienced the beauty, challenges, and harsh conditions of the Himalayan region firsthand. That life-changing adventure opened her heart and strengthened her desire to support young students living in remote mountain areas. Seeing their smiles, determination, and dreams motivated her to establish the Himalaya Sun Students initiative, with the goal of providing education support, warm clothing, school supplies, and encouragement for a brighter future. Karina believes that education builds strength, hope, and opportunity, and she remains committed to helping children grow into confident and successful individuals.
