Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho

Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho lake Trek is one of the world’s most famous treks also knows as Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho trekking. It is considered as one of the busy trek route which starts with a filthy road extending up to the valley of Besisahar and Khudi. We have easy walk in the beginning and then the path connects the valley of the Marsyangdi River with the Kaligandaki. Thorung La (5416m) is the highlight of the trek and one can see gigantic Himalayan and pass through subtropical to alpine region.The combination of the ACT and Tilicho lake offers the vivid experience of lowlands lifestyle and cultures to the Highland lifestyles and people cultures in the trek. Diverse ecosystems, cultures and beautiful landscape of lush paddy fields, oak forests, in the Kaligandaki the deepest gorge in the world, which make the Annapurna Circuit trekking one of the most famous trekking route in the world. Also, Around Annapurna trek offers an extraordinary panorama of Annapurna (8,097m) including, Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Lamjung, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, Tukuche peak and many other stunning peaks. Besides, you will see 100 varieties of orchids and several varieties of rhododendron forests in the world. Moreover, you can see various wild lives like snow leopards, mountain Thar, jackal, blue sheep; different species of birds including colored Impeyan, kokla, blood pheasant, and varieties of butterflies and insects. In totality, 100 mammals, more than 60 reptiles and amphibians, 450 species of birds, 9 types of Rhododendrons can be spotted in this.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

After arriving in Kathmandu you will be picked up from Airport representative and transfer to hotel. We will served authentic Nepalese cuisine with cultural show in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu. Meals included: Dinner

Day 02 : Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trek Preparation

Today, we will be free on your own. If we want to include some sightseeing around it is possible. We visit the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ and Buddhist shrine called Bouddhanath, which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft) 7-8 hours

After breakfast we start driving to Besisahar including the best view of Trishuli River.We will drive to chame, we reach at Chame the district headquarters of Manang District. You will admire amazing views of Annapurna II/IV and Lamjung Himal. Meals Included:Breakfast.lunch,dinner.

Day 04: Trek from Chame to Pisang 3200m/5-6 hours

We follow the trails of Marshyangdi to Brathang from where we get a spectacular close-up view of Annapurna II (7937m). We continue the trek via the forest with the amazing Paungda Danda rock face escalating more than 5,000 feet from the stream. After passing a suspension bridge, we ascend for some time and then walk downhill to the valley floor. Finally, we walk across dry grazing land dwelling at Dhukur Pokhari. After walking for around half an hour from Dhukur Pokhari, we reach Pisang (3,190m). There are good views of the Annapurna range and Pisang Peak (6091m) seen from the village of Pisang. Overnight at a lodge in Pisang.

Day 05: Trek from Pisang to Manang 3540m/6-7 hours via upper trail

We trek on a difficult road onto the dry Nyesyang region that starts from Upper Pisang and offers some of the best landscapes. Ghyaru is a captivating cluster-village with attractively built stone houses enclosed by meadows of wheat, barley, buckwheat, potatoes, and beans. Then, along high cross with great landscape, up and down the valley, to Ngawal–an exciting village with Gompa and age-old juniper trees. The trail now slowly descends to Mungji from where we head to reach the renowned Thakali village of Manang. You will be enjoying with the best view of Annapurna range. Overnight at a lodge in Manang.

Day 06: Acclimatization Day in Manang.

We have rest day in Manang today because we need some rest while traveling to mountains. You may keep busy to visit Bhojo Gumba, Vraga village or Gangapurna Lake. Meals Included:Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner

Day 07: Trek to khangsar village(3700m) 4hours

Today we walk further west along the river Marshyangdi valley instead of taking the normal route of Thorong La. From a village called Tenki Manang, we walk down to the river Thorong Khola and cross the river and continue towards west. It is about 3 hours walk to Khangsar village which is the last settlement towards the Tilicho Lake. People of Khangsar village are following Tibetan Buddhism and it is likely undisturbed and unchanged form of the practice. Overnight stay in the normal standard lodge in Khangsar Meals Included:Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner

Day 08: Trek to tilicho base camp (4200 m) 5-6 hours

We walk today to Tilicho Base Camp where seasonal lodge is available. The trail today is quite long for about 5 – 6 hours ( since we mostly take upper route) . We pass by the Gompa ( Monastery ), yak herders hut during the walking. After the hut, the trail forks where the lower one is a bit difficult often dangerous with loose stone pebbles in a steep trail. We take the upper trail which is ideal for acclimatization as well. First we ascend few hundred meters and then descend again. Meals Included:Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.

Day 09: Hike to Tilicho Lake 4920m/3-4 hours) and back to Tilicho BC

Early in the morning, the vertical track ascends for about 3 hours until we reach Tilicho Lake, the highest lake in the world for its size. It is a breathtaking spectacle when the surrounding hills and mountains reflect upon the pristine lake. We spend some time around the lake, letting the tranquility of the environment sink in. Later, we hike back to our lodge in Tilicho Base Camp for the overnight stay. Overnight at a lodge in Tilicho BC.

Day 10: Tilicho base camp to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft) 4-5 hours

Another short day of walking crosses a stream, climbs to a village of Tenki and continues to climb out of the Marshyangdi Valley. The trail further passes near the small village of Ghunsa. After that the trail goes through meadows where horses and yaks graze, crossing a small river on a wooden bridge we reach small village of Yak Kharka. Meals Included:Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner

Day 11: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi 4450m/4-5 hours

It is a difficult trek to Thorang Phedi. After walking further, we pass a suspension bridge and reach Ledar village. We climb furthermore and pass via immense cliffs before reaching Thorang Phedi.  On this trip, we are able to witness one of the finest views of peaks like Gundang (5312m), Syagang (6026m), Thorung (644m), and Khatungkang (6484). The word Phedi in Nepalese denotes the foot of a mountain. Overnight at a lodge in Thorong Phedi.

Day 12: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath 3800m/7-8 hours via Thorong-La Pass 5416m

We start early from Phedi as we walk up a tough trail today. Climbing up on a steep and narrow trail, we reach the highest pass of the world, Thorong La Pass (5416m). From Thorong La Pass, we can enjoy the amazing views of the Annapurna range to the south and Mukut Himal (6473m) bordering Dolpo to the west. The trail goes downhill over glacial moraine, which gives way to lush fields before we reach Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Holy water flows from the 108 carved taps surrounding the temple. Overnight at a lodge in Muktinath.

Day 13: Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni 2800m/4-5 hours

Early in the morning, we visit the holy temple of Muktinath. You can bathe in the 108 taps which supposedly washes your sins away. Below the temple, there is an additional Buddhist monastery where we can witness the mixture of earth-water-fire that gives Muktinath its spiritual importance. We also see the superb view of Nilgiri Himal (7061m) and Dhaulagiri I (8167m). We then walk steadily to Jharkot where we visit the old nunnery and continue our walk to reach Kagbeni. Overnight at a lodge in Kagbeni.

Day 14: Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom 2710m/5-6 hours via Lubra village 2790m

We walk alongside the bank of Kaligandaki River until we arrive in Lubra. We visit Bon-Po monastery and continue our trek to Jomsom which takes about 2 hours. Jomsom is famous for the wild winds amid the barren rocky hills and sand dunes. Overnight at a lodge in Jomsom.

Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara 950m/7-8 hours

After early breakfast we will towards jomsom to pokhara.you have to see good views on the way and After 7-8 hrs drive .you will reach pokhara and rest. or (free to visit). Overnight at the hotel.with Meals Included:Breakfast

Day 16: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu 25 minutes

Late afternoon, we take a 25 minutes flight from Pokhara and fly over the mountains one last time before landing in Kathmandu. You can spend your leisure time exploring the vibrant markets of Kathmandu. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Kathmandu Sightseeing And Free Shopping Day

After breakfast take an excursion visit. Today we will go for sightsing Bhaktapur world heritage site and freely shopping day. evening there will be a Typical Nepali Dinner organized for you in the Typical Nepali restaurant with cultural program. Overnight at the hotel. B

Day 18: Final departure.

You will have breakfast and You will be free till your departure. A representative will take you airport for your final departure. Meals included :Breakfast
