Community Arts Program

Overview

Community Arts Program Interns work with local communities, schools, and youth groups to promote creativity and self-expression through various forms of art. The program emphasizes the role of art in building confidence, preserving culture, and fostering social connection.

Interns help design and facilitate creative activities that encourage participation, storytelling, and cultural exchange.


Key Responsibilities

Interns are actively involved in organizing and leading artistic initiatives, including:

  • Conducting art workshops (drawing, painting, crafts, etc.)
  • Assisting in music, dance, or drama sessions
  • Encouraging creative expression among children and youth
  • Organizing community art events, exhibitions, or performances
  • Supporting cultural and artistic programs in schools or community centers
  • Creating art-based learning materials
  • Documenting activities through photos, videos, or reports

Program Structure

  • Duration: 1 to 6 months
  • Working Hours: 5–6 hours per day, 5 days a week
  • Structure: Orientation → Creative Workshops → Community Projects → Evaluation

  • Letter of Recommendation (based on performance)
