Karina Grewar is deeply inspired by her personal journey to the Himalayas and her meaningful connection with the children and communities of Nepal. During her trek to Everest Base Camp in 2025, she experienced the beauty, challenges, and harsh conditions of the Himalayan region firsthand. That life-changing adventure opened her heart and strengthened her desire to support young students living in remote mountain areas. Seeing their smiles, determination, and dreams motivated her to establish the Himalaya Sun Students initiative, with the goal of providing education support, warm clothing, school supplies, and encouragement for a brighter future. Karina believes that education builds strength, hope, and opportunity, and she remains committed to helping children grow into confident and successful individuals.

Mrs. Geeta Pandey is a passionate social worker, tourism professional, and the President of Himalaya Sun Students. With more than 7–8 years of active involvement in the tourism industry, she currently operates and manages a trekking and travel office in Nepal, where she has developed strong skills in leadership, organization, and community coordination.

Beyond her professional career in tourism, Mrs. Pandey is deeply committed to social service and community development. She has successfully coordinated and implemented several programs focused on supporting underprivileged children in rural villages, providing assistance in education, essential supplies, and opportunities for a better future. Her dedication to helping disadvantaged communities reflects her strong sense of responsibility and compassion.

As the President of Himalaya Sun Students, Mrs. Pandey plays a key role in guiding the organization’s vision and activities. She strongly believes that education, support, and encouragement can transform lives and empower children to reach their full potential.
